From US Interstate 91:

We are just east of Interstate 91 in Wells River, Vermont, at Exit 17, which is the interchange of US 302 and Interstate 91.

From the exit, you travel east on US 302 for 4/10ths of a mile. Wallace Hill Road is the second street on the right (south) side, almost directly across from a large building (a daycare center). The street sign at the intersection is green. Turn right (south) and go uphill for one mile until you see our large black mailbox with 3351 in reflective numbers and, of course, the Gargoyles on the stone columns at the driveway. The lodge is on the right (west) side of Wallace Hill Road.

From the West, traveling US 302:

Follow directions for US Interstate 91 above.

From the East, traveling US 302:

If you are taking a scenic trip up Interstate 93 in New Hampshire, take the exit for US 302 in Littleton, NH and go west. It is only about 22 miles from Littleton, NH to Woodsville, NH and Wells River, VT.

Follow US 302, traveling through Lisbon, Bath, and then Woodsville, NH, which is on the Connecticut River across from Wells River, VT. Follow US 302 through Woodsville and across the Connecticut River, entering Vermont. When you have crossed the river, the road goes under railroad tracks and is very narrow for a sharp turn and then ends at a stop sign in Wells River, on its main street.

Turn right (north) on the main street in Wells River, (which is also Route 5). After only about a block, US 302 turns left (west) uphill, separating from Route 5. About 2 miles up the road, just before a large bulding on the right (a daycare center), look for Wallace Hill Road on the left (South). The street sign at the intersection is green. Turn left (south) onto Wallace Hill Road and go uphill for one mile until you see our large black mailbox with 3351 in reflective numbers and, of course, the Gargoyles on the stone columns at the driveway. The house is on the right (west) side of Wallace Hill Road.

If you are arriving after dark, look for the two brightly lit columns on the lawn to guide you.
